Non-valid inspection
The most obvious reason. Driving a car without a valid technical inspection may result in stopping the registration certificate and loading the car on a trailer. It is therefore not worth risking it. Moreover, if you cause a breakage or an accident, your insurer may refuse to pay compensation on the grounds that there is no current maintenance (your car may be out of order).
Absence of insurance policy
Driving a car without valid insurance can be dangerous for the whole festival of consequences. Financial ones are, of course, the hardest hit. This means that the car does not have a valid technical test and is simply not allowed to be driven on public roads. If you decide to fit a towing hook or gas system, you must go back to the vehicle inspection station and repeat the inspection. Otherwise you will break the rules.
Absence of registration certificate
If you have lost proof, you must apply for a duplicate. You will receive a temporary document at your fingertips and wait about 3 weeks for it to arrive. If, however, the evidence has been stopped by the police, you must remove all identified defects (e.g. replace the windscreen) and have a certificate from the SKP before taking it back.
Unclear body numbers
After years, the VIN number may simply rub or corrode on the vehicle’s bulkhead wall, for example. In such a situation, the regulations prohibit the use of the car on public roads. In the case of a check, the police officer can check that the body number matches that of the registration certificate. If he can’t read it out, he will stop it and make it impossible for you to continue driving.
